S23 Dosage
Since S23 is still a research compound, dosages are based on others’ personal trial and error. It is thus advised that beginners start at 10mg while intermediate and advanced users go for up to a maximum of 20mg and 30mg daily respectively. Due to the short 12 hour half-life time, the administration is suggested to occur twice a day at equal dosages. The standard recommended bulking and cutting cycle lengths are 8 weeks, which should be followed then by a 4-8 week PCT and can be cycled on its own or with other SARMs.
S23 Side Effects
SARMs are considered generally safer than anabolics, but as far as S23 goes, it is one of the more potential side effect-prone SARM. This as always, depends on dosage, length of use, and genetics. The main potential side effect is Testosterone suppression followed by sperm production stoppage, which of course is just a temporal effect while using the compound. Mood changes and aggression, and darkening of the urine color are all additional temporal effects. Male hair loss pattern is also possible due to S23 having a relatively strong androgenic activity.
Do You need PCT for S23?
S23 is a testosterone-suppressing compound and can cause complete testosterone shutdown. In some cases, it might only cause a reduction in testosterone levels. (Testosterone supression) The only way to tell whether or not you need to take PCT (like Tamoxifen) after a SARM cycle is to conduct a blood test and confirm your testosterone, LH, and FSH levels. Low LH and FSH will indicate that your HPTA is suppressed (and additional lower levels of Testosterone will confirm this claim). However, it is generally recommended to PCT after a S23 cycle.
