Description
How it works:
Semaglutide is a weight-loss medicine that works by mimicking a body hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), which targets areas of the brain that regulate appetite. Semaglutide helps balance out hormones like insulin, significantly reduces blood sugar, and therefore suppresses your appetite and reduces food cravings.
Form:
Semaglutide is a freeze-dried white powder that comes in a 2 mg vial. This advantage of semaglutide allows you to set any dose you want. The 2 mg vial is usually used for smaller dosages of semaglutide.
How to dose:
Semaglutide needs to be mixed or “reconstituted” with bacteriostatic water before use. The amount of bacteriostatic water depends on the dose you want to take, as described in the following table.
